Louise Marie Pappe was the daughter of Richard Pappe Sr. and Louise Kornrumpf. She was born and raised in Kingfisher, OK and later moved to Springfield, MO. She married Rev. William Jersak, pastor of the German Evangelical Church in Kingfisher. They had three children. Louise graduated from Kingfisher High School in 1912 attended Chillicothe College. She was an accomplished artist and was known for her beautiful calligraphy.
