Richard Pappe's City Bakery in Pratt, Kansas. Richard and Louise Pappe are standing in front of the bakery with their sons, Albert and Richard Jr. Albert was born in July 1883 in Newton, Kansas and Richard Jr. was born in June 1887 in Pratt. According to the Pratt Historical Museum, this is the oldest known photo of Main Street in Pratt. The trolley tracks that can be seen running down the middle of the street were installed in 1888 and removed the following year.
