Albert L Pappe Family- summer 1887 This photo was taken in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, which is in eastern Cass County. Albert L Pappe and his first wife Helena Prettig move from Tazewell, IL to Plattsmouth in 1886. Four children were born to the couple in Nebraska — Karl Richard, Minnie M, Margaret Lena and Emma Louise. Minnie lived only a few months. This photo is of Kate (8), Karl (3 months), Helen (28), Herman (8), and George (3) . Herman, George and Kate were born in Illinois. |
