Death of a Young Girl
Clara, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Pappe, died at 7:45 Monday morning. Her illness was very brief and her death came so suddenly as to be a doubly severe shock to her family for that reason. Her death was due to a sever form of throat trouble. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the German Evangelical church in this city, followed by interment in the city cemetery.
Clara was a bright and lovable child and had a way of endearing herself to the hearts of all who knew her. Her age was 9 years, 2 months and 23 days. Her parents, playmates and friends have sustained an irreparable loss in her departure to that other world and they have the sincere sympathy of all in their hour of sorrow.
