Maria Angela (Nieland) Hoebing (1849-1925) and Maria
Anna (Nieland) Boes (1843-1919) were the two daughters of John
Henry Nieland and Elizabeth Osterhold that immigrated to America.
Anna Boes immigrated first. She was married in Dubuque County,
Iowa, then lived in Breda, Iowa with her husband, Gerhard Boes.
Angela Nieland lived first in Iowa, then moved to Okarche, OK
with her husband, John Hoebing, after their children were born.
