Mary Agnes Baustert, 84, lifelong resident of Okarche, went to be with the love of her life, Paul, on Nov. 15, 2009, at First Shamrock Care Center in Kingfisher.

A prayer service was held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17. Mass of Christian Burial was set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, with both services at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Okarche with Rev. Don Wolf, Rev. David Lafferty and Deacon Max Schwarz officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery under direction of Huber-Benson Funeral Home in El Reno.

She was born Feb. 23, 1925, at Okarche.

Mary Agnes was a homemaker.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Altar Society, Catholic Daughters of the Americas and volunteered for many years at Holy Trinity Catholic School.

She was the oldest child of the 13 children of Joseph Vincent and Augusta Ann (Mueggenborg) Rother.

On Oct. 28, 1948, Mary Agnes married Paul H. Baustert. Paul preceded her in death on May 18, 2006.

She was also preceded in death by twin daughters, Paula and Martha; her parents; three brothers, Lawrence, Greg and Victor Rother, and three sisters, Rose Ann Wolf, Lucille Rother and Evelyn Rother.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Sheila Baustert, Robert and Roxie Baustert and Michael and Gina Baustert, all of Okarche; three daughters and sons-in-law, Elise and Fred Morrow and Elaine and Dr. Jim Gerber, all of Kingfisher, and Sharon and Tom Clark of Okarche; three brothers, Leo Rother of Okarche, Joe Rother of Rockmart, Ga., and Clarence Rother of Dodge City, Kan.; three sisters, Bernadette Stangl and Trudy Kroutil, both of Sparks, and Cathy Landoll of Oklahoma City; 17 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
