Lewis Vernon Mueggenborg 1954-2006

Lewis Mueggenborg, 52, died Monday, Nov. 20, 2006, in his home near Yale. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Church of God in Yale with Pastor Mike Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawson Cemetery, Yale. Services have been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Yale.

The son of Tony Mueggenborg and Ruth (Laughlin) Mueggenborg, he was born May 16, 1954, in Stillwater. He lived all his life in Yale and graduated from Yale High School with the Class of 1972.

He married Tammy Sheets Dec. 3, 1976, in Stillwater.

He will be remembered as an outdoorsman who loved to farm and hunt. He also enjoyed drinking coffee with friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, three sons, Michael Mueggenborg and his wife, Michele, of Yale, Ryan Mueggenborg of Yale and Matt Mueggenborg of Yale; one daughter, Mandi Britton and her husband, Eddie, of Yale; two brothers, John Mueggenborg and his wife, Crystal, of Yale and Darrell Mueggenborg and his wife, Jennifer, of Yale; two sisters, Mildred “Millie” O’Steen and her husband, David, of Sapulpa and Virginia Cussner and her husband, Dale, of Yale and grandchildren, Brittni Britton, Morgan Mueggenborg, Colton Mueggenborg and one on the way, Logan Britton.
