Lawrence Wittrock

Lawrence Wittrock, 57, of Okarche, died Tuesday in his home in Okarche.

Wake Bible Services for Wittrock were held at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Holy Trinity Catholic church with Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the church.

The Rev. Charles Beckman officiated. Wittrock was buried in the Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery in Okarche.

Wittrock was born Feb. 22, 1925, in Okarche and had lived in the Okarche area his entire life. He and Jo Anne Vrana were married Aug. 17, 1949, at Edmond [Oklahoma].

Wittrock was a memeber of the Holy Trinity Catholic church, the Knights of Columbus No. 3220 and the Foresters.

He is survived by his wife of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Roberto (Pam) Sanchez of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Rod (Patty) Mills of Oklahoma City, Mrs. David (Paula) Post of Kingfisher; two sons, Joe Wittrock of Oklahoma City and Tom Wittrock of Yukon; six grandchildren, three brothers, Cletus Wittrock of Okarche, Louis Wittrock of Carroll, Iowa, and Carlos Wittrock of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Mrs. Max (Mildred) Pappe of Cathedral City, Calif., and Mrs. Stanley (Rita) Forman of Kingfisher.

Wittrock's family has suggested that those who wish make contributions in his memory to the Center of Family Love in Okarche.

OKARCHE, Okla.—Lawrence Wittrock, 56, was injured fatally in a farm accident near here Friday, May 21. He has several relatives living in the Carroll and Breda areas.

The funeral mass was celebrated Monday, May 24, at Holy Trinity Church in Okarche. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Wittrock of Carroll attended the rites.

Mr. Wittrock is survived by his wife JoAnn, five children; two sisters: Mildred Pappe, Palm Springs, Calif., and Rita Forman, Kingfisher, Okla.; three brothers: Cletus, Okarche; Carlos, Oklahoma City, and Louis Carroll; an uncle, Mike Wittrock, Carroll, and numerous relatives at Breda.

He was born February 22, 1923, in Okarche, a son of Joseph and Rose Wittrock.

He lived all his life near Okarche where he was a wheat farmer.
