Arnold John Ziegmann 1910-1973

LAKE VIEW—Arnold J. Ziegmann, 62, of Lake View died unexpectedly at his home Sunday morning, April 8.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Church in Wall Lake, with the Rev. Edmond Adams officiating.

Burial will be in the parish cemetery, under direction of the Farber and Otteman Funeral Home of Lake View. Pallbearers will be Hans Schmidt, L. H. Corn, Elmer Lange, Sidney Nelson Jr., Gerd Fischer and Charles C. Raine.

Mr. Ziegmann was born in Sac County Aug. 27, 1910, a son of Anton and Anna Bering Ziegmann. He was a laborer in the gravel business.

Survivors include his wife, Edna; six children, Marvin of Lake View, Mrs. James (Jeanette) Slavin and Duane of Omaha, Neb.; Mrs. Raymond (Violet) Falasco of Stone Mountain, Ga.; Clarence of Breda and Mrs. Bruce (Marilyn Curtice) of Bakersfield, Calif.; and 14 grandchildren.

Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Joseph Ziegmann of Spirit Lake; Mrs. James (Dorothy) Van Fleet of Hutchinson, Kan.; Mrs. Sidney (Helen) Peterson of Westside; Mrs. Leo (Leona) Schmitt, Raymond Ziegmann and Mrs. Russell (Agnes) Ackerson of Early; and Mrs. LaVerne (Alice) Snyder of Schaller.
