This postcard is from the collection of Herman Nieland.  Franziska (nee Heisterkamp) Nieland (1913-1983) was the wife of Heinrich Bernard Nieland (1914-1986), who is called Heinz in the card.  The couple lived in Ramsdorf, North Rhine Westphalia.  Franziska sent the card from Kevelaer to her husband's uncle Herman Franz Nieland (1885-1957) in Breda, Iowa.

From the Mother of God I send you warm greetings, your niece Franziska. I thought of you in my prayers and told the mother of God about your request. Write to us when you have some time. Greetings from Heinz, and all the loved ones at home too.
