Mrs. F. Bosold, 89, Is Early's "Senior Citizen"

Mrs. Frances [Hoebing] Bosold was 89 years old March
8.
Mrs. Bosold was born near Wall Lake in 1883, the
daughter of John and Angela Nieland Hoebing. Her father taught
the rural school she attended there. When she was seven years
old, the family moved to a farm near Breda where Mrs. Bosold attended
grade and high school.
She was married to George Naberhaus in 1902. They
purchased the farm from her parents and began to farm there.
Mrs. Bosold had six children, 15 grandchildren and
18 great grandchildren. George Naberhaus died in 1919. She married
Ed Bosold in 1928, who died in 1957. Mrs. Bosold is an aunt to
the children of the late Mr. and Mrs. B.G. Schettler of Breda.
Mrs. Bosold is active and does her own housekeeping
and plays cards and has other activities. She has numerous relatives
in this vicinity.
"The Nieland Family" compiles by a relative
David Nieland of Breda is a complete book of genealogy of that
lineage of her family.
Her parents lost four children in a diphtheria
epidemic in 1882. Mrs. Bosold is the remaining member of her family
of 11 children.
