Our
Pappe Family ancestry
been traced back to Rudolph Conrad Pappe who first appears
in
written records in the mid-1700s
in Töttleben,
a
village on the northeast edge of Erfurt in the Thüringen
region of Germany.
His birthplace is unknown. Later generations lived in Töttleben,
Stotternheim, Hopfgarten and other villages in the vicinity.
